n-Visage is a vital component in any distributed security solution, providing all the features of a Sitescape² console excepting the ability to record footage directly, as no cameras may be connected to it. An n-Visage console can act as a central monitoring station for an entire installation, with both LAN and WAN connectivity, this console can be used to view live or recorded footage from any Sitescape² unit in communication with it. Footage can also be exported via the n-Visage unit, allowing for archiving at locations remote distant from the cameras and Sitescape² units themselves.

Mulitple n-Visage units can co-exist with each other as part of the same solution, allowing for more than one 'central' point of control for a security system. This is a significant advantage when the internal risks to security installations themselves are judged to be severe enough to warrant redundant control systems, or where the scale of an installation is so complex more than one dedicated team of security personnel are required to monitor activities.

n-Visage is a software-only component, requiring only a resonably well-specified 'Windows XP class'  workstation hardware with appropriate network connectivity.
