Designed initially to facilitate the networking of Sitescape² units, the 'Comms Hub' has evolved to become the focus of IES' efforts to integrate new technologies and existing legacy security systems into unified, intelligent security solutions.

The Comms Hub can act as a virtual matrix switching unit, allowing for quick and easy-to-use management of which camera footage should appear on which monitor. It can interface with an existing hardware matrix switcher, to facilitate manual switching of the cameras connected to multiple Sitescape² units across a site.

This rack-mount format unit can be customised by IES engineers to provide interfaces to Sitescape² units, legacy security systems, access control systems and many other components of IES solutions. The flexibility this unit provides our engineers and designers in creating bespoke solutions tailored to the specific requirements of our clients is, in our opinion, unrivalled within the security industry today.
